NudgeLink can send two short emails to a lead alongside the LinkedIn steps, from your own mailbox. Replies on either channel land in the same Inbox and stop the whole sequence.
It emails only addresses NudgeLink already has, from your CSV, HubSpot or a LinkedIn profile. For leads found on LinkedIn that is usually only after they accept: see where email addresses come from.
Who can use it
| Plan | Mailboxes |
|---|---|
| Starter | Not included |
| Growth | 1 |
| Scale | 3 |
If you move to a plan with fewer mailboxes, nothing is deleted. The extra mailboxes stay connected and are marked Over plan limit: they don't send. An email step that should go out from one of them waits up to 7 days for a free slot (an upgrade, or disconnecting another mailbox), then is skipped so the rest of the sequence carries on.
Connect a mailbox
- Open Settings → Mailboxes and select Connect a mailbox.
- Choose Google (Gmail and Google Workspace), Microsoft (Outlook and Microsoft 365) or another provider over IMAP, and sign in with that provider. NudgeLink never sees your password for Google or Microsoft.
- You return to Mailboxes. The new mailbox can take a minute to appear.
Use a separate mailbox or domain for outreach, not the one your team uses every day. If a recipient marks an outreach email as spam, it affects that mailbox's reputation.
Daily limit and warm-up
- A new mailbox starts at 20 emails a day and adds 5 a day until it reaches your limit.
- The default limit is 50 a day; you can set up to 100.
- The count runs over a rolling 24 hours. When a mailbox is full, email steps wait a couple of hours rather than being skipped.
Pair it with a LinkedIn account
Each mailbox can be paired with one LinkedIn account. A campaign sends from the mailbox paired with the LinkedIn account that runs the sequence, and uses that account's sending hours. A campaign can also choose a specific mailbox instead (see Email in a campaign).
What NudgeLink does with the mailbox
- Sends the campaign's emails, one recipient per email, with no open or click tracking.
- Reads replies to those emails, and other mail from people it emailed in the last 60 days, so they reach your Inbox and stop the sequence.
- Records bounces, so NudgeLink stops using a bad address.
It does not send newsletters, bulk mail or anything you didn't set up in a campaign.
If NudgeLink loses access
If the mailbox's password changes or its permission is removed, the mailbox shows Needs reconnecting in Settings → Mailboxes and stops sending. Email steps that should go out from it wait up to 7 days, then are skipped so the rest of the sequence carries on. To fix it, select Connect a mailbox and sign in with the same address again.
Disconnect
Select Disconnect on the mailbox. NudgeLink stops sending from it straight away and removes the connection. A campaign that chose this mailbox sends from the mailbox paired with its LinkedIn account instead; if there is none, email steps are skipped and LinkedIn steps carry on.
While the mailbox is disconnected, NudgeLink can't see replies that arrive in it, so check that inbox yourself. You can connect the same address again at any time: replies to emails sent before are matched again from then on.
